Anony Lighting
Anony is a Toronto based lighting and product design studio, with local manufacturing capabilities and the latest technology that’s elemental to their design process. Anony is concerned with the entire life cycle of their product. In pursuit of creating an object that has longevity, every stage of life is considered. Anony designs products that last. Thoughtful and honest material choices result in something that exudes quality and inspires care.
Anony’s flexible lighting collection can provide both function and ornamentation to almost any space. The pure forms and neutral material palette of the lights allow them to make a quiet statement wherever they may be placed.
All fixtures use dimmable LED technology and can be fully disassembled to change the light source, replace a part, or re-install.
The Phase Chandelier
Inspired by the exquisite balancing act found in hanging kinetic mobiles. Phase light is an interpretation of a circle in three forms: a sphere, a disc, and a melted semi-circle. This vertical fixture is built from the bottom up to stay balanced. Every component of each tier is hand finished and weighted precisely before being attached to the arm. Each tier acts as a predictably weighted foundation for the tier above, where the process repeats. Phase conceals its wires inside the arms while maintaining perfect parallel line structures. Rather than relying on adjustable parts—which shift over time and alter the geometry of the fixture—Phase achieves a fixed equilibrium with weight and steel piping.
The Ohm Series
An innovative take on a conventional sphere, the Ohm’s orbiting shade invites curiosity and interaction. Each opal glass orb casts a warm ambient glow, suspended in space by a slim suspension cable. The Ohm can be displayed as a singular pendant or as a cluster.
The Highwire Pendant
Highwire is a gravitational balancing act, created by tension between two points and a weighted centre. By weighting the cables with the luminaires, the cables lightly trace shapes in three-dimensional space, allowing the fixture to frame to any setting. These shapes are further accentuated by the light emanating from both sides of each disk, which illuminates the surrounding area and also the fixture itself. Up to five luminaires can be added to a single power drop.
