The 8000 series is a design icon produced by Magnus Olesen since 1981. The furniture is based on a unique and patended production technology without the use of screws and dowels, which makes the furniture incredibly strong and very flexible despite its low weight. The chair has been a part of many Danes’ upbringing in schools and institutionalinteriors and is known as part of the interior design of ‘Cafe Victor’ when it first opened in Copenhagen. The design is available as chair as well as stool. The stool stacks endlessly, like a sculpture.
A set of complementary colors from the designers’ hand never got to see the light of day. They are now brought to life in a colourful relaunched line in combination with a set of muted colors that complement the entire collection and speak into the trend of today’s day & age.
