The Pia chair was developed on a "less is more" concept, with focus on the least possible material consumption, still maintaining a high level of detail and optimal comfort. The thin, conical-shaped solid wooden legs give a light visual expression, which is further emphasized by two fine details; the hand-sanded rounding at the top of the back legs, and the finger jointed front legs. The seat is created in a two hour weaving process which requires great patience and precision and is joined by a moulden backrest for exceptional comfort.
