The Ariake Saga chair is an effort to find the harmony in a small lounge chair with a great seating experience. A seemingly oversized seat lends to the visual comfort of the chair. Still the chair is rather petite in size and fits well into smaller spaces. The presence of the chair is a combination of Japanese humbleness and Scandinavian material sensibility. In Norwegian the word Saga refers to the ancient stories of the North. With this chair we are writing a new story from Saga prefecture.
